The Senior Technical Support Engineer, Digital Learning will be part of a passionate, dynamic team that develops engaging course content, designs practical certification exams, and supports Ansyscustomers through our learning is an exciting role to broaden the appeal of numerical simulation and Ansys products to a global market,along with opportunities to develop relationships with partners that expand our digital learning ecosystem. Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the content development lifecycle for Ansys Innovation Courses, such as technical discovery, product design, execution, and implementation Develop certification exams, determining appropriate questions and simulation exercises that will effectively evaluate candidates' technical competency Become a recognized expert within and outside of Ansys Help guide complex content development using subject matter expertise and industry knowledge Own one or more areas on the forum, aide in the thriving of this area in the forum by keeping the usersexcited and updated on the current state of the art Collaborate with the other teams as needed; test new releases of Ansys products on industrial problems when applicable Support Ansys field and digital marketing for Ansys Innovation Courses team as needed Contribute and lead strategic projects as needed by team, including but not limited to infrastructure development & maintenance, business operations, service fulfillment Mentor junior engineers Participate in corporate initiatives to further enhance Ansys technology, processes, and people skills Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0 Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages Product expert in one or more Ansys simulation tools Logical problem-solving; strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in writing and speaking English Strong organizational and time management skills; possesses a sense of urgency Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen; driven to succeed Two (2) years of experience performing structural simulation using Ansys Mechanical or other structural finite element simulation tools in a commercial or academic setting Preferred Qualifications and Skills Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles associated with using engineering simulation software, demonstrating the ability to identify customer requirements, effectively communicate solutions, and deliver results Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of time Demonstrated ability in producing in-person recordings teaching engineering subject matter Experience teaching engineering concepts and developing training or other learning materials Experience working in scrum framework using agile principles for product delivery in commercial or academic setting Experience with video editing and postproduction techniques Familiarity with using LMS (Learning Management System) platforms CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to Ansys.
